The seven cabinet ministers are Sudhir Mungantiwar, Prakash Mehta, Vinod Tawde, Eknath Khadse, Pankaja Munde, Chandrakant Patil and Vishnu Savara. The ministers of state are Vidya Thakur and Dilip Kamble.
In drama that ensued the night before, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, whose party has been in alliance talks with the BJP, said he would not attend the ceremony. But two hours before the ceremony on Friday when BJP president Amit Shah called him up and got him to reverse his decision.
It still isn't clear whether the Sena will join or support the BJP, which has only 122 seats in the 288-member Maharashtra assembly. The Sena, its former ally, has 44 seats. Talks about a possible tie-up have been proceeding ever since the election results were announced on October 19, but have so far been inconclusive.

Delighted that Fadnavis is being sworn in at the Wankhede. We can now reciprocate by having the IPL games at Mantralaya.

Wankhede is named after a Congress leader who was the mayor of Nagpur. Today a BJP leader who was the mayor of Nagpur is sworn as the CM.
