The newest photo from India’s Mars Orbiter Mission is of regional dust storm activities over the northern hemisphere of the Red Planet. The image was said to be taken from an altitude of 74,500 kms from the surface of Mars.

The spacecraft has been equipped with five instruments that include a sensor to track gases, a colour camera and a thermal-imaging spectrometer to map the surface and mineral wealth of the red planet. Many more photos in the coming days are expected.
Elon Musk, founder of Space X, a company that designs, manufactures and launches advanced rockets and spacecraft, even congratulated ISRO.
