As Kashmir stayed submerged for the fifth day on Tuesday, images of the devastation caused by incessant rains continue to be posted on social media portals. Thanks to a short spell of clear weather, the Indian army and National Disaster Response Force was able to step up their rescue efforts to reach out to thousands of people still trapped in Srinagar and the rest of Kashmir.
