Formed three years ago by Dawa Drakpa and Ugay Tsheri when they were students at The Royal Thimphu College, The Baby Boomers describe themselves as the "first Western-style band in Bhutan". They created this video of Can't Buy Me Love a few weeks ago to mark the 50th anniversary of The Beatles appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show in America.
In a press release that accompanied the release of the video, the group appealed, "We are currently seeking a patron or patrons for the band who are interested in supporting the boys to become the first professional musicians in Bhutan."
Here's their website.
