Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has declared the 10th and 12th board examination result today, June 27, 2020. The link to check the 12th result has been activated; however, the 10th result link will be activated at 1.30 pm. All the students who had appeared for the exam can check the result on the official website, upresults.nic.in.
Girls have performed better than boys in both the classes. For Intermediate exam, girls have scored a pass percentage of 74.63% and boys have scored 68.88%.
Anurag Malik bagged the first position in merit list for 12th class with 97% followed by Pranjal Singh with 96% and Utkarsh Shukla with 94.8%. For 10th class, Riya Jain was declared the topper with 96.67%. The second and third positions were grabbed by Abhimanyu Verma and Yogesh Pratap Singh with 95.83% and 95.33%, respectively.
The exams were conducted in the month of February in which more than 56 lakh students had participated in the exam. The results were expected in the month of April. However, due to the COVID-19 lockdown, the evaluation process was hampered and the results were delayed significatly.
In 2019, the board had released the 10th and 12th exam results on April 27th. The class 10th students had achieved a pass percentage of 80.7% whereas the 12th students managed 70.2%.
NDTV reports that the board will issue digitally signed certificates to students this year. The board has also made arrangements for rectification of certificates online.

- The result links for both the classes will be available on the home page once it is declared. Click on the relevant link.
- Enter the roll number and other details.
- The result will be displayed.

12.22 pm: The result will be declared now any time. TOI reports that 10th students will receive hard copy of their mark sheet by July 15 and 12th students will receive it by July 30.
12.07 pm: The press conference has begun. The result will be declared in a few minutes.
12.01 pm: TOI reports that the conference has not started yet but is supposed to begin soon.
11.54 am: The press conference is expected to begin in a few minutes where the results for the 10th and 12th exams will be released.
11.35 am: UP Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma will be addressing the conference to declare the result. It is expected to start at around 12.00 noon. Times of India reports that this year there will be limited presence of at the press conference and only electronic media is allowed to attend.
11.00 am: The result is expected in an hour’s time. Students are suggested to be ready with their hall tickets to check the result when it is declared.
10.24 am: More than 30 lakh students have appeared for the High School or class 10th exam in the state. For 12th class or Intermediate class, more than 25 lakh participated in the exam.
10.21 am: There were significant delays in the evaluation process with the lockdown in place throughout the month of April. The evaluation process was started in May in green and yellow zones first and then in the red zones.
8.52 am: More than 56 lakh students had appeared for the board exams this year.
8.36 am: Times of India reports that the result will be declared at 12 noon.
8.29 am: The board had announced in the first week of June that the result will be declared for this year’s board exam on June 27.
8.27 am: The exam was conducted in the month of February.
8.09 am: This year UP Board had managed to complete the examination before the COVID-19 lockdown, but the evaluation process was affected by the lockdown. Thus, the results have been delayed.
8.08 am: In 2019, the result was declared on April 27. The pass percentage for 12th class in 2019 was 70.2% and for 10th class it was 80.7%.
8.07 am: The official website currently states ‘Results likely to be published on 27 June 2020’.
7.59 am: Students can access the result on the official website, upresults.nic.in, when it is released.
