Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has finally revealed the 2019 HSC or 12th class result date today. Indianexpress.com reports that the result will be declared at 11.00 am tomorrow, May 28th, at a press conference; however, the link to check individual results will get activated at 1.00 pm. Earlier there were lots of speculations around Maharashtra HSC 2019 result but this is the first confirmed news around it.

Once results are declared, students will be able to check results at the official websites, maharashtraeducation.com, mahresult.nic.in, and mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in. Around 14,91,306 (14.19 lakh) students had registered for the examination, out of which 8,42,919 are boys and 6,48,151 are girls, Indian Express report says. Maharashtra Board HSC exams were conducted between February 21st and March 20th this year.

To put things further in perspective, MSBSHSE Pune generally declares the 12th class board exam results in the last week of May and the 10th class result in the first or second week of June. This year most of the state boards and CBSE have declared the board exam results earlier than the normal but Maharashtra state will be sticking to the tradition at least for this year.

Last year the result was declared on May 30th and the pass percentage for 14,18,645 candidates who appeared for the Maharashtra HSC exams was 88.41%. Girls did better than boys with 92.36% of girls passing the exam, compared with 85.23% of boys. The highest pass percentage among the nine districts was recorded by the Konkan district, in which 94.85% passed the exam.
