Gujarat Secondary Board of Education (GSEB) has declared the HSC Class 12th science stream results along with GUJCET 2019 results today on its website - gseb.org. The results were expected to be declared today on May 9th at 8 am and 10 am respectively. But the board has gone ahead and declared results for both exams at once.
Candidates who appeared for the science stream Class 12th exam in Gujarat can check their final scores by using their six-digit seat number on the GSEB site.
The overall pass percentage has declined by 1.1 percentage points to 71.90 per cent compared to last year. In 2018, the pass percentage was at 73%. A total of 1,23,000 students had appeared for the GSEB HSC Science Exams 2019 for Group A, B and AB, out of which 89,060 students have cleared the exam.
The GUJCET and 12th science exam results were declared around 7.30 am and the GSEB Home page right is leading visitors to the result page. Now that GUJCET result has been declared, the GSEB will initiate the counselling process in a few days, details of which will be available soon.
How to check GUJCET 2019 and Gujarat 12th Science Stream result:
- Visit the GSEB official website.
- The result page will open where students can feed in the seat number (B or C) as mentioned in the admit card and roll number and click on ‘Go’.
- The result along with marks in individual subject and grades will be displayed which can be printed out for reference.
GSEB has not yet mentioned when the result of 2019 class 12th Commerce and Arts stream will be released. Students are advised to keep track of the GSEB website for any notification regarding the result dates.
GSEB Class 12th science stream pass percentage

10.40 am: Gujarat HSC Class 12th students registered a pass percentage of 71.90 percent in the science board exams 2019. The GSEB HSC science scorecard includes the details of overall percentile, percentile in science subjects, percentile in theoretical subjects and subject-wise marks.
9.25 am: Last year, Rajkot district emerged as the best performing district. The total number of students who passed the examination stood at 98,067, which is out of the 1.34 lakh students who appeared.
8.45 am: The final answer key for GUJCET 2019 was published few days ago on the GSEB website. The answer keys were released by the board on May 3rd and can be accessed from this direct link here.

9.39 am: How to check GSEB 12th Science/GUJCET 2019 result
- Visit the GSEB official website.
- The home page redirects to the result website.
- Select the Seat Number (B or E) as mentioned in the admit card and feed in the roll number and click on ‘Go’.
- The result along with individual subject marks will be displayed
8.35 am: GSEB has simultaneously also declared the results for Gujarat Common Entrance Test, GUJCET 2019 on its website. Candidates who appeared for the GUJCET 2019 can check their scores from gseb.org.
8.23 am: The HSC Class 12th science stream results have been declared and candidates can check the results from GSEB website which automatically redirects to a results page. Choose your group and enter the six-digit seat number to check your results.
8.12 am: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) will release result booklet for Class 12 science exams today, Thursday, May 9th, at 9:30 am, FirstPost reported.
Gujarat HSC exam results 2019
8.04 am: This year in 2019 around 1.5 lakh students had appeared for the GSEB HSC science stream exam and the board exam was conducted from March 7th to March 16th, 2019.
8.02 am: In 2018, The Gujarat 12th science stream registered a pass percentage of 73% in the 2018 exam. Girls did better than boys with a pass percentage of 74.9% compared to boys who registered 73%.
7.55 am: In total, 6 lakh students appeared for the GSEB Class 12 examination held at more than 1,500 centres. Around 1.47 lakh students appeared from science stream. From Group A, 57, 511 candidates took the test while 89, 760 students appeared from Group B.
