Hero MotoCorp has launched the Hero Xtreme 200R in India, pricing it at Rs.89,000, ex-showroom Delhi. The Xtreme 200R was earlier only available in the North-eastern states of Assam, Mizoram, Tripura and West Bengal, priced at Rs.88,000 (ex-showroom).
We had reported earlier that the Xtreme 200R model would likely be offered across India soon, and that is just what the company has done. The bike was launched for the aforementioned North-eastern states in the month of July.
First showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo as a concept vehicle, the Xtreme 200R debuted in January 2018. Powered by a 200cc engine producing 18.4PS of power at 8,000rpm and 17Nm of torque at 6,500rpm, it will be first bike from Hero to offer ABS. To that effect, it gets single-channel ABS at the front and a disc brake at the rear.
The 2018 Hero Xtreme 200R comes in four colour options – Heavy Grey with Orange; Black with Sports Red; Sports Red; Panther Black with Force Silver; and Techno Blue. Eye-catching body graphics and a new LED tail light round up the list of features that the Hero Xtreme 200R offers.
