Govind Guru Tribal University (GGTU), Banswara, is expected to release the results of the second round of BSTC counselling today, August 7th, according to the schedule that GGTU published on August 1st. The university began second round of counselling for the Basic School Teaching Course (BSTC) 2018 from August 2nd, and will publish the second round results at the official website, bstcggtu2018.com.
The University issued a notification on August 1st stating that a second round of counselling would be held for those candidates who had already registered for the first round but could not get seats and for those who failed to participate in the counselling round.
The first round of BSTC 2018 counselling began on June 11th and the first allotment results were declared on June 23rd. The university also conducted a round for upward movement from July 9th. The allotment results for the upward movement were announced on July 13th.
For this second round of BSTC counselling, candidates were supposed to submit their choices from August 2nd to August 5th. Candidates who get seats allocated in the second round will have to deposit the allotment fee on or before August 10th and report to the institute on or before August 11th.
The BSTC 2018 written exam is conducted to select candidates for teaching courses offered by colleges affiliated to the university. The exam was conducted on May 6th – and results declared on June 6th – for around 21,000 seats in various colleges and approximately 6 lakh candidates had appeared this year.
