Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has decided to open the registration and choice filling option for BCECE 2018 engineering counselling for the second time. Candidates who could not register during the first window have been given another opportunity to register and submit their choices. Candidates need to visit bceceadmission.nic.in from August 7th afternoon to fulfill the registration process. The last date for registration is August 9th.
In a notification released on August 5th, the board had put a pause on the second and third allotment schedule for an indefinite period of time. The notification released on August 6th states that students who had missed registering during the first attempt will be given another opportunity. The second allotment result will be declared on August 11th and the candidates can report at the centres from August 12th to August 14th.
The first allotment had been declared on July 28th and the candidates were supposed to report to the centre from July 29th to August 1st which was later extended up to August 3rd. The BCECE 2018 counselling process started on July 18th and candidates were initially given only one opportunity to register for all the three rounds of counselling.
The third allotment details have not been released yet. Apart from detailing the second registration window and schedule for second allotment, the circular also states that the candidates already registered but who are not allocated any seats during the first allotment can make changes to their choices and subjects.
The BCECE 2018 result and merit list was declared on June 21st. Apart from engineering, the board also conducts admissions to professional courses in polytechnic, health science, and agriculture.
