The HMD Global-owned Nokia brand recently released a teaser about an exclusive launch event without revealing any further details. This comes on the heels of recently launched Nokia 3.1 in India.
Nokia Mobile India, the company’s official twitter handle, posted a link along with the hashtag ‘BringItOn’ for fans to get the chance to witness the exclusive event.
Interested fans will have to share their ‘favourite Nokia smartphone experience’ in order to participate. The 50 most creative entries will be chosen by the smartphone maker.
The winners stand a chance to witness the exclusive launch of the next Nokia phone in India, although it isn’t clear yet which phone will be launched by the Finnish company.
It is largely rumoured that the company could likely launch the Nokia 6.1 Plus in India, already available in China and the European market.
Nokia 6.1 Plus, the global variant of the Nokia X6, was recently launched in Hong Kong, and India being an important market for the company, it would make sense for HMD Global to launch the phone here as well.
The Nokia X6 or the Nokia 6.1 Plus features a 5.8-inch full HD+ screen with a display notch. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, which is accompanied with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There is also another variant, with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of on-board memory.
The phone bears a dual rear camera setup with a primary 16-megapixel sensor and a secondary 5-megapixel sensor. It also gets an equally powerful front-facing camera of 16 megapixels.
