the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) will be conducting the MBBS 2019 entrance exam on June 2nd, 2019. The registration for the 2019 MBBS entrance exam will begin on March 6th next year and the last date to apply will be April 12th.
In a notification released on August 2nd, JIPMER revealed the tentative schedule for entrance exams that the institute will be conducting for the academic year 2019-20.
Apart from the MBBS entrance exam, the institute will conduct entrance exams for MD/MS for the July session on May 19th, 2019 and those for MD/MS for the January 2020 session on December 8th, 2019.
The institute will conduct counselling for MBBS entrance exam from June 26th with first counselling scheduled to be held from June 26th to June 28th. The admission process will continue until September 30th. MBBS course for 2019-20 academic year will start from July 1st.
JIPMER and AIIMS are the two institutes throughout the country who have their own entrance exams for MBBS. All other institutions in India conduct their MBBS admissions through NEET. From next year onward, the NEET exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NAT) instead of the CBSE.
AIIMS had released their 2019-20 entrance schedule on July 29th and the institute will be conducting the MBBS entrance exam in 2019 on May 25th and May 26th.
