Huawei’s flagship phablet, the Honor Note 10, was launched today amid much fanfare at an event in China. The event was live-streamed for fans in India eager for a glimpse at the device. The premium offering by Honor was released with unique nine-layered cooling technology on board along with a host of other features that enhance the gaming experience.
Additionally, the Huawei Honor Note 10 features a Turbo mode, which can be enabled using a dedicated physical ‘Turbo’ button on the device. The Turbo button has been implemented into the UI for easy access while gaming. It can also be used as a shutter button when using the device’s camera app, which also comes with various AI enhancements. On the camera front, the Honor Note 10 gets a 16MP + 24MP AI dual-camera setup at the rear.
Perhaps the most impressive feature of the Honor Note 10 is its massive 5,000mAh capacity battery, something that was reported earlier as well. The phablet will be available in two colours, Phantom Blue and Midnight Black, and it will also be released in a special Honor Note 10 GT edition in lily white.
It won’t be an exaggeration to say that the Honor Note 10 heavily tilts in favour of gamers. For that purpose, there’s multi-channel game audio to assist in gaming. Additionally, the phone will vibrate in particular in-game scenarios, the company has said. And, with assistance from the cooling technology that prevents overheating, a common complaint with heavy gamers, the device packs a punch in an attempt to provide a thrilling gaming experience.
Simultaneously, Huawei also confirmed the price for the Honor Play at 2,399 yuan and announced the launch of two new laptops dubbed ‘Magic Book’ at the event.
Honor Note 10 price and release date
Huawei has definitely taken its time in revealing the Honor Note 10, successor to the Honor Note 8, which came out two years ago. The phablet has been launched in three variants and with a starting price of 2,799 yuan, which is for 6GB RAM + 64GB storage. The Honor Note 10 price for the 6GB+128GB model is 3,199 yuan, while the top end 8GB+128GB model will be priced at 3,599 yuan.
On conversion, this comes to around Rs.27,000 for the lowest storage model. The Honor Note 10 will go on sale starting from August 3rd across various leading e-commerce platforms in China.

The Honor Note 10 features a 6.95-inch AMOLED Full HD+ FullView display with slim bezels. Just like the Honor 10, the Honor Note 10 runs on the HiSilicon Kirin 970 octa-core processor with a dedicated NPU for AI tasks. In terms of software, the phablet runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.2 out of the box. On the front of the flagship phablet is a 13MP AI-powered selfie snapper.
