Xiaomi’s global spokesperson, Donovan Sung, had Tweeted about the Mi Max 3 launch, set for this Thursday, July 19th, hinting at a ‘big screen’ and ‘bigger battery’. While the launch is only a few days away, leaks have been pouring in from all corners of the Internet. The Xiaomi smartphone will allegedly sport a 6.9-inch full-HD+ display and a 5,500 mAh battery, the leaks suggest.

The Mi Max 3 will reportedly be equipped with vertically stacked dual rear cameras and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It could likely get a 12MP primary sensor; however, the rear camera specs are not talked about in the leak. The phone is also rumoured to get options of 5MP and 8MP selfie camera sensors, a report by NDTV Gadgets says.

According to earlier reports by TENAA, there could be three models of the Mi Max 3 based on RAM and storage sizes: one with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, one with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, and one with 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. As expected, there is no word on the Mi Max 3 pricing.

Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will succeed the company’s 6.44-inch phablet, the Mi Max 2, which was launched last year, currently priced at Rs.15,999 for the 64GB variant in India. The India launch date of the Mi Max 3 is also not known.
