Oppo India is all set to launch its flagship Find X model in India today. The smartphone boasts of novel features such as motorized camera sliders that minimize the bezels on its display and 3D facial recognition. Existence of bezels has long been an eyesore for smartphone users and this was definitely a welcome move when the phone was unveiled in Paris last month.
The Oppo Find X is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 845 SoC with Adreno 630 GPU and 8GB of RAM, which is similar to that of the OnePlus 6. The panoramic phone has a motorized camera slider that contains both the front and rear cameras, and rises when needed, such as when unlocking the Find X with 3D facial recognition.
Oppo, on its official website, claims that the Find X is the first Android smartphone to feature 3D Structured Light Technology which employees 15,000 facial dot recognition and intelligent analysis. The launch of the Oppo Find X will be live-streamed starting at around 1 p.m. IST today, July 12th. To watch the live stream launch of the Oppo Find X, click here.
