The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) started its first round of counselling for NEET candidates, for medical and dental courses on Monday, July 9th.
Candidates who have cleared the NEET 2018 examination and have registered to participate in the counselling process can select their choice of seat on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) option will close today, July 10th, at 5 p.m.
The KEA NEET 2018 first round of counselling is being done for 5,920 medical seats in 48 colleges throughout the state of Karnataka. Of these 5,920 seats, 3,390 are in government colleges and 1,808 in private colleges.
How to register via CAP for the first round of KEA NEET 2018 counselling
- Log on to the official website of Karnataka’s KEA NEET 2018 admission website.
- Hover over ‘UG-NEET-2018’ and click on ‘Option Entry for Medical and Dental (UG NEET) First round -2018.’
- Alternatively click on this direct link to access the login page for candidates.
- Enter your CET number and the Captcha text and click on ‘Submit.’
- Click on ‘Save and Submit’ and take a printout for future reference.
CBSE declared the results of the NEET exam on June 4th, in which Kalpana Kumari from Bihar topped with a score of 691 out of 720.
This year, 13.26 lakh student registered for the NEET 2018 exam and around 53.85% candidates are eligible to participate in counselling process conducted by various institutes and state governments.
