Reigning national Champion Sourav Kothari stunned 10-time world champion Pankaj Advani in the quarterfinals of the World Billiards Championship in Long-Up format in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
Kothari prevailed 1000-644 in his 38th visit.
At one point, Kothari trailed Advani 256-352, but took the lead with a break of 181.
Kothari maintained the lead from then on. In his 28th visit, Kothari further consolidated his lead with a break of 293 points to take the game completely away from Advani.
