FILM Quotes from the Earth: An Environmental Film Festival at India International Centre
Seventeen short and feature-length films on environmental issues such as biodiversity, waste management, toxic chemicals and climate change will be screened at this two-day festival organised by Delhi NGO Toxics Link and the India International Centre. Among the documentaries that will be screened are Markus Imhoof’s More Than Honey (2012) about the global threat to bees; Taylor Graham’s Taming the Teesta (2015) about protests against the hydroelectric development on the Teesta river and Mariah Wilson’s Kaziranga (2015) about rhino poaching at the national park in Assam.
