Mumbai-based artist Ranjeeta Kumari’s new show Labour of the Unseen: Sujani Nihilism in the Craft is a collection of video works and paintings that comment on the Bihari lower caste community to which she belongs. While Madhubani in north Bihar is considered art, her community doesn’t consider its skill of weaving bamboo as equally worthwhile.
